‘All right friends. I `ll definitely save you from that
ugly creature. But my plan to get rid off him should be kept as a
secret’, he told.
‘Only you can save us from this danger. Your
size will be a match to tackle the crocodile’, said the ‘pinky’
fish. ‘You might remember the incident in which the sea
pirates shot at you unsuccessfully’, remembered the golden
fish.
The ‘Sam’ whale thought for a while. It
was ‘Vicky’ crocodile who had shown the way for the pirates
to shoot him. He then left that area and returned the other day
only. The whale was eager to take revenge on the crocodile. ‘It
is the golden chance. I shall finish him for ever’, Sam
said to himself. He planned a detailed programme to trap the
crocodile, but did not divulge the details to the fish herd.
He swam towards a remote area near the Coral
island where the crocodile lived. Sam began to arrange that area
with bushes, stones etc,. The fish herd could not understand
what the whale was doing.
Next day ,Vicky crocodile was swimming
and relaxing in the sea near the Coral island. At a distance, he
saw a cave. Anxious crocodile swam near to it. ‘There may be
some valuable things inside the cave’, he thought. The
remote area was surrounded by stones, bushes etc,. The crocodile
did not feel anything unusual. He moved inside the cave. It was
total darkness inside. No one was found there. It was altogether
a placid atmosphere. The crocodile moved deep inside the cave.
Soon he began to suffocate. A scream followed by thunderous
noise upset the entire calm prevailed there.
It was not a cave in which the crocodile had
entered. But it was the huge whale ‘Sam’ with his mouth
opened. The whale was hiding himself surrounded by bushes,
stones etc. He crushed the crocodile to death. The fish herd
who assembled there thanked the whale for the noble service .
